Tamzin holds a BA in History, Politics & Economics from London University.

Tamzin has over 20 years experience in the finance industry, during which she has performed a number of senior roles with a focus on developing markets, most especially Latin America. In 1989 she set up the Latin American department at Edinburgh Fund Managers and continued to cover Latin America at Barings as an equity strategist in New York and London, and subsequently at Merrill Lynch.

In 1996 she was hired to run the Retail Pension fund at Standard Life and, after a period away, joined WestLB Panmure Gordon as an equity strategist.

She then worked with a former Barings colleague who founded Lusight, an internet-based research engine covering emerging markets, and latterly she was part of the newly formed Nomura Global Emerging Market team with responsibility for Latin America.

She joined Rosecastle as an adviser in 2008.
